This is one of those "must have" apps for the Droid. It has a very nice visual layout, and it also allows you to do mass group texting (for some reason this feature is not available with the default messaging app)

I see a lot of leaks out there for the new 5.0 OS download for the Tour and Storm....DON'T DO IT!!

I have heard nothing but issues surrounding it due to apps not being able to work with it, slower run time, and overall poor performance issues.

These leaks are not from RIM which is why it is important to wait for the official one!!

If you already downloaded it, and are having issues...email me and i will tell you how to downgrade back to the original.

There are some really awesome shortcut keys that you can enable, if you don't mind disabling the home screen dialing (which actually helps to prevent butt-dialing)

To disable hit the Green Send Key/ Menu Button/ General Options/ Then Go to Dial from home screen and change to NO>

Now These will be shortcut keys.

L- Calendar

A- Address Book

T- Tasks

B- Browser

BB File Manager Re-Post

BB File Scout is a GREAT way to improve the overall performance of your Blackberry by freeing up valuable application memory. The more free application memory your device has..the better it will run (too check app memory check my post on upgrading your Storm's OS)

With BB File Scout you can go in and delete a lot of the useless stock wallpaper photo's, unused ring tones, and on the Storm the Babylon AD preview video (that file alone is 10MB)

All in all if you delete all of the useless stuff you can free up around 15-20MB's....Which will allow you to download MORE STUFF!!

Now I know that most have you have gone the way of Pandora (myself included) but Slacker is still in the streaming music game and has released an update to their original program.

The main upgrade is faster buffering of songs, and the ability to pause and play with virtually no lag time.

Minimum Memory Requirement for Storm OTA Upgrade...

I have heard some issues out there regarding OTA upgrades on the Storm. If you are going to be doing the upgrade OTA (Over the Air) you need at least 23 MB of free Application Memory on your device.

Check it by going to options/ memory and then see above for where to look.

To bypass this issue go to www.blackberry.com/upgrade on your PC.
