This is one of those "must have" apps for the Droid. It has a very nice visual layout, and it also allows you to do mass group texting (for some reason this feature is not available with the default messaging app)

After you download the app you need to disable the default messaging service on your Droid. To do this go to:
Messaging/ Menu Button/ Settings/ Un-Check Notifications.
